The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program provides money and grants to low income homeowners and renters in Maine to help them pay heating costs.
Citizens Energy has a program that offers free heating oil to Maine families in need of help. Citizens Energy works with Citgo and other heating oil companies throughout Maine to provide free or heavily discounted heating oil.
The HELP assistance program provides very low interest rate loans to both moderate and low income Maine families to finance energy saving improvements that make their homes more energy efficient.
